serving up a new dining experience
Our aim for the Ober Dining Hall was to design a space that catered to a diverse student body while staying true to the university brand presence. To accomplish this, our first task was to consider creative station names that not only conveyed the menu items offered, but remained open enough to allow for future flexibility as those menu items evolve. Adding to this flexibility, we designed the station signage so that the names can be updated with minimal effort and cost. The graphic presence remained subtle, featuring a warm motif of shapes along the rear portion of the space, and then an ode to the university mascot, Grady, displayed along the beverage wall, depicting a greyhound in mid-run.
